1983年生まれ、神奈川県出身。15歳からギターを始め、2009年よりベーシストとしてライブ活動を開始。複数のバンドを経て、2019年にソロアルバム『Sound Sphere』をリリースし、音楽制作を中心とした活動へと転向。現在は「Epic Vanguard」名義でオリジナル作品を制作する一方、作家として企業や個人への楽曲提供も行っている。

これまでに累計120曲以上をリリース。ストックサービスやライブラリーミュージック、企業・アーティストへの楽曲提供のほか、地上波TV番組や動画プラットフォームでの採用実績もある。

 

アコースティックとデジタルサウンドの融合を基盤に、劇伴のようなスケール感と世界観の構築力、モダンEDM（メロディックダブステップ、ドラムンベース、ウェーブ）に影響を受けた音響デザイン、ロックやポップスに通じるメロディ性という三要素のバランスを軸にした、ハイブリッドなスタイルを得意とする。

Born in 1983 and based in Kanagawa, Japan, ochi began playing guitar at the age of 15 and started performing as a bassist in 2009. After playing in multiple bands, he shifted his focus to music production, releasing his solo album Sound Sphere in 2019. He now produces original works under the name Epic Vanguard, while also composing music for companies and individual clients.
 

To date, he has released over 120 tracks across a variety of platforms. His work includes stock and library music, commissioned pieces for commercial clients and artists, and music featured on terrestrial TV programs and major video platforms.
 

His style blends acoustic and digital elements, balancing three core components: the cinematic scale and world-building of film scores, the modern sound design influenced by genres such as melodic dubstep, drum & bass, and wave, and the strong melodic sensibilities rooted in rock and pop. This hybrid approach results in music that is both emotionally resonant and highly adaptable for visual media.
